Silicone Upper Platen Cover Pad 16x20, 1 each

The Silicone Upper Platen Cover is a soft sponge-like rubber pad that is attached to the upper 16 x 20 platen using Velcro strips. See a picture of the product and installation instructions attached.

What are the features and benefits of the Silicone Upper Platen Cover?

- Protective layer between the upper platen surface and garment prohibiting damage to the platen surface and buttons, zippers and other items on the garment

- Helps to reduce the press mark commonly found on synthetic materials after heat printing

- Provides a textured finish look on the graphic

- Cover can be easily removed or attached when needed without the need for tools

- Designed to be used with any Hotronix 16 x 20 heat press but can be used as a Flexible Application Pad for smaller platen presses

- Package includes: 1 silicone rubber pad with Velcro® loop strips attached and 2 individual Velcro® hook strips.

Contents:

* 1 silicone rubber pad with Velcro® edges,

* 2 individual Velcro strips.

No Tools Required

For your safety, please read all instructions carefully.

* If press is in use, power off and allow to cool down completely before assembly.

* To avoid any potential tripping hazard, unplug the power cord from the heat

press and from the outlet and set cord aside. (Never pull cord to disconnect,

instead grasp from plug and pull to disconnect.)

1. Remove paper from adhesive side of Velcro strips.

2. Place strips adhesive side down on the top left and right edges

of the upper platen.

3. Wrap cover around upper platen and join Velcro strips to secure.

Note: Cover should be removed for any heat applications that require

a high temperature setting.

Not recommended for Transfers, Direct-to-Garment, or Sublimation.
